My Story - From Ranch to Retirement Planning
Raised by small business owners in Michigan, I grew up knowing both the pride and the pressure that comes with forging your own path. From an early age, I understood the value of hard work, independence, and figuring things out when no one hands you a manual.
After high school, I packed up my bold streak and pink hair and moved west — to a real cattle ranch in Montana. I lived in a bunkhouse, chopped wood, learned how to doctor pinkeye in albino cows, and heated my room with a coal stove. I was up with the sun, on horseback, and soaking in the wild openness of life out west. It shaped me.
But life has seasons.
Eventually, I moved back to Michigan, then later to Florida for a fresh start. I found myself working in the debt side of finance — helping people navigate tough situations and rebuild. That experience taught me a lot about resilience and what families are really up against.
Then COVID hit. The business closed. But that transition lit a fire in me:
I didn’t want to just help people survive. I wanted to help them thrive.
So I made the leap — from debt to wealth. I launched Scaled Up Wealth with a mission:
To teach real people how to protect their income, build tax-free retirement, and grow their money without stress, confusion, or sales pressure.
🎵Fun Fact:
I’ve always had a love for music — I was in both marching band and jazz band growing up. I believe rhythm, creativity, and a little improvisation belong in more than just music — they’re part of building a great life, too.

When I’m not coaching clients or mapping out retirement strategies, I’m hanging with my fur family — 4 cats and 2 dogs who totally run the house. (I just pay the bills.)
